Shane DuBois was born and raised in Wisconsin, spent 8 years serving in the Army as a 19D Cavalry Scout (Recon) which is how Recon Angling came about. When he got out of the service, he ran professional fishing tournaments across the United States before becoming a fishing guide and sharing his passion and the sport of fishing with others.
